About Spendrobe

Spendrobe is a daily fashion game, launching soon: dress a mannequin head to toe with the priciest pieces you can spot, then see how your eye for price measures up.

What’s here today

Plainly: a landing page, these guides and a privacy page. The game itself is built but isn’t open to the public yet. We won’t run it on invented products or prices, so it opens when we have licensed product data to run it on. We don’t have a launch date to announce.

There’s no shop, no ads, no accounts, and no audience figures to quote: the site is new, and it would be silly to pretend otherwise.

What it’s for

Fashion prices are strange and interesting, and most of us never get to test our sense of them. The game is a short daily habit for people who like clothes, played for free. It doesn’t push you to buy anything, and your score doesn’t depend on buying. The guides exist because working out why pieces cost what they do turned out to be the interesting part.

We care about the whole range of designer fashion, from quiet luxury to Rick Owens. A game built on the priciest piece of the day only works if it takes those clothes seriously.

How we’ll work with brands and retailers

We’re applying to affiliate programmes so that the game can use licensed product feeds. If that works out, players may follow links to items they’ve picked, and some of those links may earn a commission. A piece goes into the game only if it has a source and a date its price was read. No coupons, no cashback, no incentivised clicks, and no brand gets to buy a better score: the score comes from the price rank. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure.

If you run a programme and want to know more about how your products would appear, please write to us. We’re happy to show you how it works.

How the guides are made

Spendrobe is a small independent project, and it’s built with heavy use of AI tools, including the writing of these guides, which is then checked against sources. Every factual claim about a brand or material links to a source at the foot of its page. Opinions are marked as ours. No brand has paid for or reviewed anything here. If we’ve got something wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.
